Hello Scientist Friends,
Here's a recap of our adventures from last week:
Goodbye Brianna!
Brianna, our SDSU Intern/Helper, had her last day with us on Tuesday. We interviewed her, did her Name Puzzle, Played a quick game of Duck-Duck-Goose!, handed her special messages that the children worked on earlier in the week, and we enjoyed a special treat together. Thank you Brianna for all of your support!
4th Grade Buddies Walk and Talk
The Scientist Friends had requested to have some time to get to know their Buddy a bit more and we agreed to take a short hike around the neighborhood. Friends practiced their safety agreements and had plenty of time to chat and ask each other questions. What did your child learn about their Buddy?

Special Birthday Celebration
Thank you to Jessica and Matthew for sharing our friends' special day with us! We sang Happy Birthday with cha-cha-cha's, sang The Green Grass Grows All Around, gave birthday messages, played Save the Three Little Pigs from the Big Bad Wolf, and enjoyed a special treat.
Earth Day Clean Up
The Scientist Friends worked together with the help of Lynn (Ara), Hope (Calvin), Sarah (Gracen), Rachel (Melayna), Genia (Ryan) and Rose (Scarlett) to cleaned up around the outside of Innovations Academy to help beautify our school and help our beloved planet.
Earth Day Garden Feast
Friends had the chance to visit the Garden during lunch to taste a salad made out of the crops that were harvested this season.
Outdoor Education with Coach Curry
Friends practiced kicking and catching a soccer ball.
